In einem sch\u00f6n aufgemachten, erneut digital remasterten Boxset des Meisterwerks von 1973 sind zwei CDs, eine Poster-Reproduktion und ein Booklet mit informativen Liner Notes von Beatles-Archivar Mark Lewisohn enthalten. Die erste CD besteht aus dem regul\u00e4ren „Band On The Run“-Album inklusive „Helen Wheels“. Der zweite Silberling jedoch besteht aus rund 50 Minuten dokumentarischem Material. Hier h\u00f6rt man Ausschnitte der Originalsongs, Kommentare von Paul und Linda McCartney, Denny Laine, Tony Visconti (der an den Orchester-Overdubs arbeitete), eine ganze Reihe Interviews mit den Beteiligten des heute schon ikonenhaften Covermotivs und schlie\u00dflich Dustin Hoffman. Zus\u00e4tzlich gibt es unver\u00f6ffentlichte Version der bekannten Albumtracks, seien es Proben [„Band On The Run“ (1989), „Let Me Roll It“ (1993)] oder Soundchecks [„Jet“ (1993)]. Unbegreiflich ist es allerdings, dass die h\u00f6renswerte Version von „Bluebird“ (Australien 1975) nach noch nicht einmal einer Minute ausgeblendet wird.<\/p>\n
